Dewayne had his first season in 2016 and immediately fell in love with the theatre, the region, and the people. In 2017, he became Associate Artistic Director, as well as directing and choreographing several productions. Now he is excited to be the Artistic Director now going on his 10th year with Post Playhouse. He is originally from Georgia, where he danced with the Georgia Ballet and the Atlanta Jazz Theatre. Dewayne has performed leading roles around the country, appearing in Cats, Crazy for You, Annie, West Side Story, A Chorus Line & Singing in the Rain. He has directed and choreographed national tours, regional theaters, cruise ships, dinner theaters, community theatres, movies, parades, High schools and internationally at the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing, China. He is also choreographer for Rand Productions where he choreographed, Grease, Footloose, Elf, A Christmas Story and Finding Christmas at the MGM Beau Rivage.

Mark is excited to be back at the Post for his 2nd year. He has toured with Wayne Newton and Gladys Knight. His musical theatre tours include: Dreamgirls, A Chorus Line, Grease w/ Frankie Avalon, Cats, and many others. Mark wanted to thank Dewayne Barrett for giving me the opportunity to to work at such a professional theatre company. Dennis J. Scott Lee Clayton is a music director based out of Edmond, OK. Scott Lee most recently graduated with a Masters of Music in Collaborative Piano at the University of Central Oklahoma. Before his masters, Scott Lee worked professionally in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex for three years as a music director and pit keyboardist. Scott Lee has music directed many shows such as Chicago, Alice By Heart, City of Angels, and many others. Additionally, when Scott Lee is not music directing he plays keyboard in the pits as well all around the Tulsa and OKC Metro area. Echo is excited to return to Post Playhouse for her second season. A third grader with a growing passion for the stage, she is thrilled to be part of Seussical the Musical as Young Kangaroo and a member of the ensemble. Echo made her stage debut last year in Newsies, where she quickly discovered her love for performing. She especially enjoys bringing energy to the stage through singing and dancing, and loves every moment of being part of a show.

Past credits include Olga in Three Sisters, Philoclea in Head Over Heels, and Portia in Something Rotten. She recently made her on-screen debut in Hallmark’s Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story. He married the lovely actress who played opposite him in South Pacific, they had three crazy, adorable children, and they moved to Chattanooga. Lately, Don has been providing Post Playhouse with IT support, and he is happy to be able to continue to help the theatre in this way.

Lauren Elise Dunn is overjoyed to return as a company member for her second season at Post! She recently graduated from Long Island University with her B.F.A in Musical Theatre. Last summer you may have seen her in Lucky Stiff (Annabel Glick), Into the Woods (Florinda u/s Little Red & Cinderella), Newsies (Mush/Bowery Beauty/Nun), *Nunsense Jamboree (*u/s Sister Amnesia & Mary Leo) and Guys & Dolls (Ensemble).

Will-Franklin Eller is ecstatic to be making his debut at the Post this summer! He is an Atlanta-born actor, singer-songwriter, and performer. He recently originated the lead role of Mark in the world premiere of Trick! The Musical (based on the cult classic film), for which he was nominated for a BroadwayWorld Award. He’s a proud graduate of Kennesaw State University and of the training program at Actor Therapy in NYC, where he received training from Broadway professionals. In addition to musical theatre, he is also a pop-rock songwriter, and his debut EP is currently in development. Endlessly grateful for Mom, Dad, Mae, and MTC, to whom he dedicates his performance.

Timothy Ellis is a professor of musical theatre at Kennesaw State University in Georgia. Em is delighted to be part of the team at Post again this year. Em worked as an actress at Post Playhouse for four seasons spanning from 2009–2019 before joining the administrative team. She received her BFA in music theatre from Elon University and her MPA in nonprofit management from Indiana University. Em has worked in administration and advancement for arts organizations around the country since 2015, most notably The Cleveland Orchestra and the San Diego Symphony. You may remember Em on the Post Playhouse stage in The Wizard of Oz ‘10 (Dorothy), Oklahoma! ‘12 (Laurie), and The Music Man ‘19 (Marian). She looks forward to visiting her home away from home in Nebraska again this year.

Her most recent gig was Mrs Claus on the Mt Rainier Scenic Railroad. Grant Newcombe is an upcoming senior at FSU studying BA Theater (Performance) with a voice music minor. He is so excited to be returning to Post Playhouse for his second summer! His most recent credits include Footloose (Chuck), Newsies (Race/co-choreographer), Guys and Dolls (Lieutenant Brannigan), Once Upon a Mattress (Jester), and Spring Awakening (Hanschen). He has also recently directed and choreographed a dance piece to Billie Eilish’s album, Hit Me Hard and Soft. Carter is excited to be joining the Post Playhouse for his first season. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre Accompanying at Shenandoah University. In addition to accompanying and music direction, Carter is also a skilled arranger, orchestrator, music copyist and keyboard programmer, and plays organ, accordion, and drums. At Shenandoah Conservatory, he has had the privilege of working on Catch Me If You Can, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, On The Town, Spamalot, Waitress (Collegiate Premiere), Legally Blonde, and Pippin. Last summer he was the Music Direction Apprentice at Theatre Aspen in Aspen, Colorado. There he worked on Mamma Mia! and was Music Director for the Cabaret Come Together: A Celebration of the Beatles. Carter has also worked on professional, community, and educational productions such as Tick, Tick… Boom!, Fiddler On The Roof, The Drowsy Chaperone, 9 to 5, Something Rotten!, Godspell, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, Theory of Relativity, Chicago and many others. Carter also composed the score for the film The Prowl, directed by Cole Knight. His score earned him a Nomination for Best Score at the Virginia Emerging Filmmakers Festival in 2025. Zane Phillips is exhilarated to be joining Post Playhouse as the Sound Designer/Engineer through the vast array of fun musicals! He is currently a student at Eastern Michigan University studying both Entertainment Design & Technology and Communication and he is a member of Alpha Psi Omega, Players at EMU, and Eagle Filmmaker’s Association. Outside of academics he is a member of USITT and SETC. Wyatt is thrilled to be returning to the Post Playhouse stage for his second summer! A 9-year-old, almost fourth grader at CIS, he made his Post Playhouse debut last season alternating as Les and Ensemble in Newsies.

When he’s not at the theatre, you can find him working on the ranch, driving his 4-wheeler, or throwing a football. He is actively involved in Corn Valley 4-H, where he is the club Treasurer and is raising a steer and two pigs for the Dawes County Fair this year.

Post Playhouse debut! Tay is thrilled to be in her first summer stock season here with Post Playhouse. She thanks the entire team for taking a chance on her work. She is currently a Wayne State BFA Acting major entering her final year this fall. Recently she has been Octavius in Julius Caesar, Patsy in Little Murders, and Shaggy in MCC: Scooby Doosical (an original production) all at Wayne State. The experience of performing shows in repertory, and at such a fast-paced schedule is new to her, but an exciting, necessary step in the process of becoming a professional performer. She would also like to thank her family and friends for letting her run away for the summer to pursue her passion, and perhaps coming to visit too!

After several summers in the box office, Connie is very excited to return for another season. She loves working at Post Playhouse; interacting with cast and crew, seeing plays, and meeting so many interesting people. Before working in the box office, Connie volunteered as an usher for several years. Before retiring, she had a career as both an Administrative Assistant and Legal Secretary in Virginia, Maine, and Nebraska. Being married to a career military man, she was lucky enough to live in California, Virginia, Maine, Alabama, and Japan. Connie has two children and three grandsons. In her off time she enjoys spending time with family, reading, volunteering, and, of course, playing with her cat. Connie looks forward to seeing all of you again this summer.

Matthew Smith, 15, is thrilled to be returning to Post Playhouse for his fifth season. He first took the Post Playhouse stage at just 10 years old when DeWayne cast him as Friedrich in The Sound of Music. Since then, he has appeared as Crutchie in Newsies, Larry the Lobster in The SpongeBob Musical, the Nephew in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, as both a Munchkin and Flying Monkey in The Wizard of Oz, Michael in Peter Pan Jr. and King Julian in Madagascar Jr. Matthew is incredibly grateful for his years at the Post and cherishes the many friendships and memories he’s made along the way. Matthew would like to thank DeWayne for always believing in him and encouraging his growth in the world of musical theatre over the years!

Ann Stephens has worked as part of the Post Playhouse for many summers, first as a volunteer usher, a volunteer in the concession stand, and for the past several years, she has managed the Box Office. Before retirement, Ann had a long and rewarding career as a classroom teacher and as a public education administrator, working in Texas, Arizona, Idaho and Nebraska before joining Post Playhouse staff. In off-season months, Ann enjoys being with her grandchildren, reading, baking, and volunteering throughout her home community of Crawford. Whether you are ready to make additional reservations for more of our superb productions or ready to enjoy some treats at intermission, you’re likely to see Ann… and she’s USUALLY smiling.

Adday is honored to be joining the Post cast and crew for her 5th season. Adday debuted at the Post in 2022 when she was cast as Louisa von Trapp in The Sound of Music. She had no idea how many friendships, mentors and life skills she would gain through this experience. And now, she couldn’t imagine spending her summers any other way. She is so grateful to Dewayne and all the cast and crew through the years who’ve helped her grow as an actress.

Justin Truitt is super excited to be making his Post Playhouse debut! Some of his favorite credits include: A Christmas Carol (Fred Anderson) and 42nd Street (Mac) at Clear Space Theatre; Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey II) and The Music Man (Ewart Dunlop-Quartet Lead) at Second Street Players; Sondheim on Sondheim (Matthew Scott) at Possum Point Players; and Mr. Puppy the Musical (Mr. Puppy) at The Schwartz Center for the Arts. In his free time he loves playing guitar and piano, and taking care of his dog, River the Chiweenie, who he had to leave with his amazing parents and sister in Delaware. Justin is currently pursuing a degree in Music with a vocal concentration at Delaware State University.

She is originally from Nashville, TN and has a BFA in musical theatre from Belmont University. The past 4 years she has been performing at Dollywood and even had the chance to sing for Queen Dolly herself! Favorite credits include Leading Player (Pippin), Sue (Carrie), and Lenny (Crimes of the Heart). She would like to thank her family for always supporting her, Zach for all of his love and support, and her friends for lifting her up to follow her dreams. Reese is 11 years old and very excited to be alternating the role of Jojo in Seussical. This is Reese’s fifth year at the Post Playhouse, previously playing roles in The Sound of Music, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Wizard of Oz, and Newsies. Reese also played the role of Tina Denmark in Chadron State College’s 2025 performance of Ruthless. Reese will enter 5th grade at Chadron Middle School and enjoys theatre, art, dance, music, sports, and playing guitar. She is the daughter of Matt and Loni Watson and has two younger brothers, Grant and Reid, who can often be found cheering her on in the audience. Reese and her parents would like to thank everyone at Post Playhouse for their kindness and encouragement throughout the years.

Rhett can’t express how thrilled he is to be back for this 3rd season at Post as scenic designer and now lighting designer! He has been a part of countless productions mainly in the Western Maryland area both onstage and off, most notable at The Cumberland Theatre, and MET in Frederick MD. He has scenic designed over 70 productions and light designed over 50 in the last 10 years.
